Abstract: the participation of women in the workforce is the subject of many studies at the global level, the objective of which is to better understand gender equality in employment. in labour markets, supply and demand are principally the results of the interactions between both interconnected social and economic variables. this paper is a joint analysis of the determinants of female labour participation in venezuela. it also analyzes the determinants of women？s employment in venezuela for the year 2005, using a probit econometric model. results mainly, show that the participation of women in this labour market is product of decisions in order to maximize household？s personal income and compatible with the theory of human capital decisions

Abstract: The aim of this article is to put forward some thoughts related to temperament, character and personality. The three concepts should be outlined considering his differences and, at the same time, his interactions. By the temperament, the genetic causes and developmental aspects are discussed. Some ideas associated with the affect are also considered. After analysis about his structure it is suggested here the contribution that character could play in the psychotherapy. Lastly, it will be proposed that five basic systems: perception, cognition, emotion, motivation and action might be viewed as basic contributors for personality building. The paper concludes with a model under three perspectives referred to the systems.

Abstract: Los aspectos puramente pedagógicos son vitales para poder entender cuáles han sido las diferentes realidades vividas en el mundo de la educación en prevención de riesgos laborales, si se cree con convicción en la consecución del cumplimiento de objetivos a largo plazo. Por ello, el planteamiento de este artículo es una apuesta de futuro con el fin de analizar el pasado más reciente, sin dejar de lado el interés de plantear objetivos consolidados, aunque estos sean a largo plazo. El hecho de analizar experiencias vividas, por muy insignificantes que hayan sido, ha de servir para plantearse un análisis detallado de hacia dónde camina la prevención de riesgos laborales en el mundo educativo, con el fin de poder establecer una estrategia común en base a un proyecto educativo coordinado, unido y en síntesis con las actividades ya llevadas a cabo, las cuales son fruto de iniciativas ya plasmadas en proyectos de actuación reflejados en el marco normativo actual y reciente

Golpes De Estado En Venezuela Durante El Período 1989-2004: Evolución Del Conflicto Y Contexto Sociopolítico

Abstract: coups d？êtat are not punctual events in the political life of a country, but situations closely linked and conditionate by the social/political dynamic of a nation, so being the practical materialization of patterns of conflict already installed in the society. as proposed by jesús de andrés, the origins and performance of coups d？êtat may be studied through the identification of its situations, framing processes and organization. this essay follows that methodology in order to briefly approch the three coup d？êtat that have taken place in venezuela between 1989 and 2004, linking its irruption with the evolution of the patterns of conflict that signed the nation thoroughout the last two decades. as conclusion, the author thinks that 1992 coups modified the pattern of conflict, even articulating a new one, while the 2002 coup was the frustrated outcome of a social movement that emerged as a response to that new pattern of conflict.

Abstract: Se define el concepto de accesibilidad electrónica y se analiza la legislación, normativa y directrices aplicables en este ámbito. Se establecen los criterios básicos de accesibilidad que el ordenador y el software deben incorporar para facilitar el proceso de búsqueda y recuperación de la información en los servicios de información públicos. Se analizan las ayudas técnicas más difundidas en el mercado, se especifica la forma en la que los usuarios con discapacidad las utilizan, y se destaca la importancia de que los servicios de información dispongan de tales ayudas técnicas. Finalmente, se expone el proceso que los servicios públicos electrónicos deben realizar para alcanzar un nivel de accesibilidad electrónico adecuado para los diferentes tipos de usuarios, independientemente de su discapacidad física, sensorial o tecnológica.The concept of electronic accessibility is defined in this article and an analysis is provided of applicable legislation, norms and guidelines, as well as of the basic criteria that both computers and software should incorporate in order to facilitate searching and retrieval in public information services. Also covered are the most widely distributed technical aides on the market, the manner in which they are used by disabled users, and the importance for information services of making use of such aides. The article ends by describing the process that electronic public information services should follow for achieving an adequate level of accessibility for different types of users, regardless of physical, sensorial or technological impediments.
La accesibilidad a la información en las bibliotecas públicas : directrices para garantizar la integración

Abstract: En aquest text s'analitzen la legislació, la normativa i les directrius que existeixen sobre l'accessibilitat a la informació i al coneixement en les unitats d'informació i, en concret, en les biblioteques públiques com a serveis per a tots els usuaris. S'hi sistematitzen les principals directrius que cal considerar a l'hora d'oferir un servei d'informació públic, que inclou principalment: l'accés a les instal·lacions de la biblioteca, la senyalització i l'orientació en el context de la biblioteca, l'accés a la col·lecció i les diferents tipologies de documents, com també la comunicació i transmissió d'informació. El conjunt de directrius aportades pot ser útil a la comunitat bibliotecària per planificar o dissenyar serveis d'informació públics adaptats per a tothom, on es garanteixi l'accés integral a la informació.Se analizan la legislación, la normativa y las directrices existentes sobre la accesibilidad a la información y el conocimiento en las unidades de información, y en particular, en las bibliotecas públicas como servicios para todos los usuarios. Se sistematizan las principales directrices a tener en consideración a la hora de ofrecer un servicio de información público, que abarca principalmente: el acceso a las instalaciones de la biblioteca, la se alización y orientación en el contexto de la biblioteca, el acceso a la colección y las diferentes tipologías de documentos, así como la comunicación y transmisión de información. El conjunto de directrices aportadas pueden servir a la comunidad bibliotecaria para planificar o redise ar servicios de información públicos adaptados para todos donde se garantice el acceso integral a la información.The article analyses existing legislation, standards and guidelines regarding accessibility of information and knowledge in information units and, particularly in public libraries as providers of services for all users. The main guidelines to be considered when offering a public information service are systematised: namely access to the library premises, signs and orientation, access to the collection and to the different types of documents, as well as the communication and transmission of information. The guidelines provided can serve the library community in planning or redesigning public information services that adapt to all, where full access to information is guaranteed.
